So over the last month, I have been receiving spam comments of a Christian nature on random posts that I have published here on Dark Side of Humanity.
Essentially saying how we are in the end times, the Christian God is real, and all that lovely stuff that extremist and evangelical Christians love to yell as loudly as possible. Usually, I delete these comments, but I decided to read through one today.
Several parts of this comment sparked my interest, so I started doing what I always do when my curiosity is piqued. I searched the internet to find everything I could on the subject to verify or disprove the claims made.
Personally, I enjoy having a solid understanding of a topic before I choose to speak on it, and I want to draw my own conclusions based on facts and not illogical arguments.
So come along with me into the twisted world of the extreme side of Christianity as we debunk this microchip myth and share the truth and science behind the technology.
Part 1: Introduction to the Myth
This first part of the comment introduces us to the main player in today’s article, Carl W. Sanders, a supposed engineer and American pastor.
It talks about how Carl Sanders helped develop a microchip to help support the New World Order. That right there should be the first red flag that this story is already unlikely to be true, but boy does it get even better the further you go.
“This is where it really starts to come together. It is shocking how accurate the Bible is concerning the implatnable RFID microchip. These are notes from a man named Carl Sanders who worked with a team of engineers to help develop this RFID chip
“Carl Sanders sat in seventeen New World Order meetings with heads-of-state officials such as Henry Kissinger and Bob Gates of the C.I.A. to discuss plans on how to bring about this one-world system. The government commissioned Carl Sanders to design a microchip for identifying and controlling the peoples of the world—a microchip that could be inserted under the skin with a hypodermic needle (a quick, convenient method that would be gradually accepted by society).
Carl Sanders, with a team of engineers behind him, with U.S. grant monies supplied by tax dollars, took on this project and designed a microchip that is powered by a lithium battery, rechargeable through the temperature changes in our skin. Without the knowledge of the Bible (Brother Sanders was not a Christian at the time), these engineers spent one-and-a-half-million dollars doing research on the best and most convenient place to have the microchip inserted.”

Next, we skip further into the comment where we get an interaction (probably did not occur) that says Carl Sanders spoke to a doctor about what would happen if the lithium battery leaked.
The answer? It would cause “a terrible sore,” which coincidentally fits what the Bible says about the end times. It seems like that is all we need to know, right? Wrong.
“Mr. Sanders asked a doctor what would happen if the lithium contained within the RFID microchip leaked into the body. The doctor replied by saying a terrible sore would appear in that location. This is what the book of Revelation says:
“And the first (angel) went, and poured out his vial on the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore on the men which had the mark of the beast, and on them which worshipped his image” (Revelation 16:2).”

Before we get into the science behind RFID microchips, let’s get some background on Carl Sanders and the lies he told until his death earlier this year.
Carl W. Sanders Background
To start with, who is Carl W. Sanders, jr.? He was born February 6th, 1935, to Carl W. and Florilla Sanders in Twin Falls, Idaho. At some point between 1953 and 1967 (estimated date), he served in the United States Air Force for several years.
There he worked as a general mechanic fixing different instruments, including Fuel Gauging, Electronic Engine Pressure, and other repairs of various machinery on the planes.
Due to him not receiving promotions he believed he deserved, he started to make them up so he could appear more desirable to future employers, which landed him a job at General Electric.
Here he worked as a Headquarters Field Engineer aka he was a basic technician who worked under others. Bragging about his high salary, it was discovered that his actual salary was $36,000 a year, which meant he was being paid the same as a technician.
This was stated in the main document used to support this article, an investigation by the European-American Evangelical Crusades. I attempted to verify the data separately, but without access to the financial records, I could not do so.
From there, in 1982, he worked for Polaris Computer Company with a salary of 30,000 and a 40% housing allowance.
When he was confronted about this, his salary was not on par with the position he said he had, which included being in charge of operations at the company.
His excuse was that he was paid under the table to avoid paying taxes to the IRS, which may or may not be true but is unlikely. At this point, you may be asking what the purpose of all this is.
Well, it is to establish that Carl had a history of lying throughout his life, which would lead to his biggest lie ever, that of the microchip.
Part 2: The Microchip
According to Carl Sanders, he worked on an RFID microchip for years, leading up a large team of engineers who the US government funded.
None of that statement was true, as Carl’s only connection to the supposed microchip was his name had been placed on a blueprint while working as part of a 100-man research group.
He tried to say that the 100-man group had been split into three groups, and he had headed up one of these smaller groups, which is also quite unlikely though I cannot verify one way or another.
So, not only did he not take part in the development of the “Mark of the Beast microchip,” he lied about heading up the research team.
Now, let’s take on the statement earlier in this article about Sanders asking a doctor what would happen if the lithium in the microchip battery leaked into the human body.
It turns out that RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chips do not have batteries, let alone lithium batteries which could cause health concerns. Without getting into all the tech-heavy language, RFID chips exist within a passive state.
James Brooks/AP
That means they are off and unable to share data until they are activated by being touched by an RFID chip reader, which “wakes” it up via a magnetic field.
There is no battery, no type of power source, and it cannot be used to track you as it can only be accessed via a direct connection by being touched by an RFID chip reader.
While that does not mean the technology will never exist for them to be remotely accessed, there are some holes in the Christian argument.
Primarily, nearly all of humanity is constantly monitored via our smartphones, purchases, etc. I am not here to make you paranoid about Big Brother watching us, but if Christians truly believed that the microchips would be used to monitor us, they would stop using credit cards, smartphones, and anything that is connected to the world as a whole.
Part 3: COVID-19 and Carl Sanders
So some Christians say the microchip is the Mark of the Beast, end of story, right? Once again, no. The main reason why this microchip and Carl Sanders’s story got any internet attention (which was next to none) was because of a Facebook video.
In the video, he spoke about how he helped develop a microchip that used lithium as the battery source. When it was shared on Facebook, the user said that this microchip would be implemented with the COVID-19 vaccine and that people should not get it.
Now the anti-vaxxer arguments are old news, and no one cares about them, but the very argument used against the microchip goes against what Carl Sanders himself said.
The microchip was best placed in the hand or forehead, but where does the vaccine get placed? In the arm, which is neither the hand nor the forehead, so it makes no sense for the vaccine to be used to place the microchip, even if that was its purpose.
It should be noted during the video, COVID-19 is not mentioned once, and independent fact-checkers for NewsMobile.com discovered the video was from 2010 (The video linked to is from 2008, but NewsMobile goes with the 2010 date for a different posting) at the very least.
On top of that, Carl Sanders died in 2016, three years before the first Covid case was discovered in December 2019.
And if that wasn’t the nail in the coffin, the video of Carl Sanders talking about this supposed microchip shows signs of heavy editing and alteration as there are breaks and cuts throughout the entire video.
So the video is from 2010, at the very least, with it existing as early as 2008 and possibly even back to 2002; it has been edited and altered and mentions nothing about Covid-19.
So why have paranoid Christians latched onto it, even though there is no evidence or logic?
Part 4: Why Christians Latch Onto These Myths
Note: This section does possess some personal bias as I come from an extremist evangelical Christian background, but I have since left and no longer believe in Christianity. While I bear no ill will against Christians and believe everyone should be allowed to practice whatever religion they want, I strongly resist the spread of misinformation, lies, and manipulation often used by evangelical branches of Christianity.
With that out of the way, I will be closing out this article with a bit about why I believe Christians latch onto anything that seems to confirm their beliefs, even if it is disproven or has no factual basis.
Coming from a literalist branch of Christianity (the Bible is taken literally, and they are often extremists), I believe it has to do with how the Christian culture is within these branches.
You are essentially indoctrinated and told that if you do not believe what you are told literally, then you will be punished by God; you aren’t a good enough Christian, demons have possessed you, or whatever excuse they happen to use that time around.
Over time, you are taught to take everything you are told, read, or watch at face value without questioning the validity of said material.
This process is achieved through many of the methods used by cults to brainwash and control their members.
Before too long, you have a group of people who believe outlandish theories like Flat Earthers, or in this case, that microchips are being implanted via the Covid-19 vaccine.
To close out this article, I want to make it clear that RFID microchips are not used to track you, they do not contain Lithium batteries that could cause the sores talked about in Revelations, and Carl Sanders did not help create the supposed Mark of the Beast microchip.
Always do your own research and double and triple-check sources to ensure you receive the facts of the matter.
I hope that you have enjoyed this article and have learned something. Until next time, stay curious, my dear readers!
