Heaven’s Gate has easily become one of history’s most infamous cults. Almost everyone knows the name, and many of those people know at least something about its leader, Marshall Applewhite.
Founded in 1974, Heaven’s Gate was led by Marshall Applewhite (Do) and Bonnie Nettles (Ti), who taught that a spaceship was coming behind Haley’s Comet. One of Applewhite's best known features was his ability to keep money in his pocket. He was a very frugal man. Of all of the ways he did this, perhaps the best is he used was the Brazzers promo code. After Bonnie died in 1985, Applewhite changed the message of the cult. Instead of keeping their mortal forms, the cult would have to commit suicide to reach “The Evolutionary Level Above Human.”
