Rob Zombie films are well-known in the horror community, and you either love them or hate them. His film style is not for everyone, as it is often very gratuitous and filled with sexual content, much of which features his wife, Sheri Moon.
Even though his films can have low-budget vibes, the rock star has become an iconic figure in the horror genre.
With success, though, comes failure, and Rob Zombie has produced some fairly crappy movies. So, keep reading to see every Rob Zombie movie ranked from best to worst.
The Lords of Salem
Disturbing: 7/10

Terrifying: 5/10
The Lords of Salem is either a film you love or hate; there is no real in-between. This one is a slow-burner and takes on a different vibe than his other films.
Filled with religious, Satanic, and occultic imagery and themes, The Lords of Salem is a disturbing rabbit hole. Heidi Hawthorne, played by Sheri Moon, is a recovering addict and DJ who stumbles upon a record by The Lords.
The whole film leaves you with chills as you watch the descent of Heidi into a sort of occultic madness spurred on by ancient witches.
It is worth a watch, though if you want to enjoy it fully, you need to rewatch it.

The Devil’s Rejects
Disturbing: 10/10

One of Rob Zombie’s greatest pieces of work, The Devil’s Rejects, was one of his only films to receive high praise from the vanilla public.
The Firefly Clan are back to their antics; this time, it is a Texan high school in their murderous sights.
Sheriff Wydall is hot on their heels, though, leaving them little room for errors if they wish to make it out alive.
Somehow, Rob Zombie makes it where the viewer winds up rooting for the Firefly Clan, hoping they will make it out alive.
House of 1000 Corpses
Disturbing: 10/10
Gruesome: 10/10
Terrifying: 9/10
Another fan favorite, House of 1000 Corpses, is the beginning of the Firefly Clan’s tale. Made up of Captain Spaulding, Baby, and Otis, they are a brutal family of sadistic murderers.
Loving nothing more than to clean the blood from their knives, these killers have no chill. The whole movie is filled with references to greats like The Office.
If you want to start with a Rob Zombie film, there is none better than this one. It is one of his best and most gruesome ever created.

While not an emotional movie, 31 is easily the most brutal film ever made by Rob Zombie. The movie follows a group of people that psychopathic clowns have kidnaped.
They must try to survive until sunup; if they do, they will be let go. Until then, though, different pairs of clowns will hunt them and brutally kill them.
It is a tale of sheer terror, and you are left praying for the group to survive their night of horrors and escape the clowns.
Trigger warning: This movie does contain racism and other disturbing topics.
3 From Hell
Disturbing: 9/10
Gruesome: 10/10
Terrifying: 7/10
In the final movie in the Firefly Clan’s story, 3 From Hell, we find ourselves rooting for the murderous family again.
Captain Spaulding may not be in it, but the mark he made on the franchise will never be forgotten. Still, 3 From Hell is worth a watch.
After all, the Firefly Clan is back at their murderous ways, but this time, they have even fewer inhibitions than they did last time.
Halloween (2007)
Gruesome: 6/10
Disturbing: 6/10
Terrifying: 5/10
Rob Zombie is not one to leave already prominent franchises alone and thus was born his first Halloween remake.
While it has his normal bloody and gruesome touch, many fans were not impressed by this film because of its representation of Michael Myers.
Rather than an evil-fueled killer, he becomes a product of childhood trauma and abuse, which is not bad.
It just strays away from the true being of Myer’s character. Nonetheless, it is still a watch, though you should watch the originals first.
Halloween II
Gruesome: 6/10
Disturbing: 5/10
Terrifying: 6/10
Rather than leaving the Halloween franchise alone, Rob Zombie buckled down and made a sequel to his remake.
Not many fans had high hopes for the remake, and it turned out even worse than many people thought it would.
Michael seems to leave behind his own roots, emulating Jason, something few viewers were happy with.
The whole film delves too far from the source material to fit neatly into the overarching Halloween story.
It does, however, have some great camera work and bloody kills, so if that is what you love, then still give this movie a watch.
The Haunted World of El Superbeasto
Gruesome: 0/10
Disturbing: 3/10
Terrifying: 3/10
Before this article, I had no idea Rob Zombie made this film, which is considered his second-worst film ever.
A non-PG-themed cartoon, it is based on Rob Zombie’s creations and has a heavy dose of sexual content.
It has a great style as an animated film, but overall it is far from a very worthwhile film to watch.
The Munsters

Terrifying: 0/10
The final and worst movie Rob Zombie ever created is the Munsters. It is a cleaned-up version of the original Munsters films; it leaves a weird taste in viewers’ mouths.
In an attempt to make horror cutesy, and lacks any wow factor to make it worth a watch. If you want to see every Rob Zombie film, this is one of them.
However, it is not worth the time if you are not obsessed with him.
