If you are trying to play through The True Ingredients and have found yourself stuck on a few spots, don’t worry; this guide will walk you through the entire game from beginning to end.
The True Ingredients is a Spongebob Horror Game where you play as an unnamed character who wants a tasty human patty. Unfortunately, though, not everything is as it seems, and the question becomes, will you escape with your life?
Here is my review of the game if you would like to know what I thought of it before you sit down to play the game. Hope you enjoy!
Controls:
- WASD: Movement

Part One: Acquiring the Patty
- Walk forward to the cashier in the middle of the room, who is surrounded by a blue glowing light.
- Press E to speak to the cashier. He will ask you what you want, but the only options are “Human Patty.”
- Select one of the “Human Patty” options and finish the dialogue.
- Sit down in your seat, which will have the glowing blue light surrounding it.
- Wait for the fish seated to your left to die before getting back up and talking to the cashier.
- After completing the dialogue, head to the warehouse door, highlighted by the blue light.
- Go down the stairs, and once you enter the long hallway, enter the first door on your right. (If you enter the last door you are told not to, Mr. Krabs will attack you with a jump scare and send you back to the top of the stairs.)
- In the corner is a box of human patties.
- Grab one, and then go back the way you came.
- Speak to the cashier, who will tell you to enter the kitchen (First door to your right) and cook it.
- When you enter the kitchen, place the burger on the grill and grab the bottom bun from the table in the back.
- Wait for the burger to cook, then place it on the bun.
- Collect the top bun, leave the kitchen, and speak to the cashier.
- The cashier will tell you to sit down in your seat.
- Eat the burger and then go to the cashier.
- You will not have enough money to pay for it, so when the dialogue ends, Mr. Krabs will grab you.
- Warning: This is a jump scare with flashing lights!!!
Part 2: Freeing Plankton
- Speak to Plankton, who is located in the cage next to you.
- Go to the door, and look to its left.
- You will see a number passcode lock.
- To input numbers, press the key located underneath each slot. Press T for the first number, Y for the second number, U for the third number, and I for the last number.
- The code to the lock is 3252. (3 fish, 2 stars, 5 boxes, 2 balls)
- Leave the room and go to the patty room from the first part.
- Grab the crowbar and use it on Plankton’s cage.
- Talk to Plankton, then return the crowbar where you got it.
- Enter the room at the end of the hall with crossbones on it.
- When you reach an opening, go to the left, where a large safe is.
- Interact with the lock before heading back into the main hallway.
- Go to the last door at the end of the hallway, which has been locked the entire time.
- Interact with the computer on the desk.
- Click on “All Passwords” and click on the Rick Roll link.
- The Rick Roll video will play with four numbers flashing on the screen one at a time in intervals. (5089)
- Go back to the safe and input those numbers as you did with the first code lock.
- The safe will open, and Plankton will go in to grab the secret formula before being killed.
Part 3: Escaping Spongebob
- After Plankton is killed, the game will autorun you to the closed vent door on the other side of the hall.
- Behind you, buff Spongebob will come out and begin chasing you.
- Run through the winding tunnels as alarms blast and chase music plays.
- After 30 – 45 seconds, you will reach the end of your journey.

Spongebob will be behind you, the meat grinder in front, and the game will auto-jump you in.
- The game ends with you being ground up and your meat being plopped into a tray.
